About UET Mardan
Pioneering excellence in engineering education and research since 2018, shaping the future leaders of technology and innovation.

Our Journey
Established on March 7th, 2018, by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the University of Engineering & Technology Mardan (UET Mardan) is located on a sprawling 172-Kanal campus on Charsada Road.
Its journey began in 2002 as a satellite campus of UET Peshawar, initially offering BSc programs in Telecommunication and Computer Software Engineering. The campus quickly expanded its infrastructure, labs, and faculty due to high public demand and its strategic location.
Today, UET Mardan enrolls approximately 1,000 students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including MSc and PhD offerings. In 2012, the Department of Electrical Engineering was added, providing both Power and Communication specializations.
A significant milestone was achieved in 2016 when the Higher Education Commission (HEC) approved a Rs. 1.336 billion grant. This funding was allocated for establishing Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering departments, marking HEC's endorsement of our potential to become a premier, full-fledged engineering university.
