The mission of the BSc. Telecommunication Engineering Program is: To produce a workforce of outstanding professionals having up-to-date knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities to improve the economic well-being and up-lifting of the society.

BSc. Telecommunication Engineering

Comprehensive program covering signal processing, network design, wireless communications, and modern telecom infrastructure.

Eligibility Criteria

Open Merit Seats
  • Must have Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Settled areas before FATA merger) domicile.
  • Must have appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by ETEA Peshawar for the relevant Academic Session (valid for one academic year only).
  • Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (min 60% unadjusted marks).
  • OR Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) with Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science (min 60% unadjusted marks) - Note: Eligible for Computer Software Engineering only.
  • OR Equivalent certificate (DAE/A-Level) with Equivalence Certificate from IBCC (min 60% unadjusted marks).
Quota Seats
  • Must fulfill qualification requirements and have domicile of the relevant area.
  • Candidates from other provinces or studying abroad must have passed SAT-II (Physics, Chemistry, Math) with min 50% or appeared in entrance test of any PEC accredited public university.

Post Graduate Programs

M.Sc. Telecommunication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree (16 years of education) in a relevant discipline (i.e. BSc. In Telecommunication or BS Telecommunication or BSc in Electrical, Electronics, Avionics, Computer/Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent) from a program accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council and/or recognized by HEC. Score of at least 50% marks in GRE General Type test, organized by University Appointed Testing Authority (UATA).

PhD. Telecommunication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

Master's degree (18 Years of Education) with CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 (or 3.75/5.0) in Semester System or First Division in Annual System in Telecommunication /Electrical /Electronics/ Avionics / Computer/ Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent. Subject Test (score ≥ 60%) conducted by UATA or Subject Test (score ≥ 70%) conducted by University Committee.

Courses & Electives

A PhD student will register in 8xx Level Courses to complete the course work. However, maximum of two courses can be studied from the 6XX elective courses, on recommendation of the PREC, provided that such course(s) has/have not been studied in the prior degree.
